❄️FRIENDLY REMINDERS❄️ With the impending weather heading our way tomorrow we wanted to provide you with a few friendly reminders! 🔹We will post road conditions as available. 🔹Highway & Streets employees have been out yesterday and today pretreating the roads. 🔹The crew will salt the roads as needed. 🔹Salt performance is less effective with temperatures below 25 degrees and virtually ineffective below 15 degrees. 🔹For questions or concerns during working hours call 865-681-1983. 🔹If you need to report hazardous road conditions after working hours please call the non-emergency line 865-983-3620. 📣With the predicted weather the roads have a higher probability of being hazardous. Please do not travel unless necessary. If you must travel allow yourself plenty of time to do it safely. 📣Our Highway & Streets crew have been prepping all week to get in front of the weather. However snow is very unpredictable. Please be patient with our crew in knowing they are doing their best while also trying to keep themselves safe.
